ST. PAULI SEPARÉE

Interior design

The separées of the Millerntor Stadium are not only spaces to experience the home games of FC St. Pauli with guests. They are always also -more or less elaborately- staged areas of self-expression. For our clients, it was mainly about experiencing the game itself with friends in a pleasant atmosphere, but also the social togetherness in the surroundings of the event.

Therefore, the focus of the design was to use the power of solid wood to build a structure that would create an atmosphere conducive to communication and family fun. A bar, dining table, game den and expandable indoor bleachers combine to create a large spatial body of oak, ash, maple and elm; cut and processed 50 km north of the stadium . The rest of the space remains unbuilt and raw. Its wall covers a mural by the artist Elmar Lause.
